What is HazeCrate?
HazeCrate is a collaborative YouTube channel focused on short films, sketches, and behind-the-scenes documentation. Some projects are tightly scripted and structured. Others are loose, weird, built around a single improvised idea, or all of the above.
My Contributions
As a Filmmaker
Within HazeCrate, I function primarily as a creative lead.
Writer – Developing original scripts and video concepts.
Director – Leading the overall vision of a project.
On-Screen Talent - Performing in short films, sketches, and appearing in behind-the-scenes content.
Editor – Handling post-production, including editing, sound design, and color correction.
Cinematographer – Operating the camera, designing lighting, and creating the overall visual language on certain projects.
As a Channel Operator
Beyond the films themselves, I help run day-to-day operations of the channel.
Content Editor & Scheduler – Cutting short-form content and scheduling uploads to maintain consistent release cadence.
Production Coordinator – Planning shoots, coordinating timelines, and making sure deadlines are met.
Channel Presentation – Handling thumbnails, descriptions/captions, and video titles to give the channel a cohesive brand.
